The Graduate Program in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering offers research and education opportunities leading to the Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees. Major research facilities including electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and NMR are coordinated through a variety of laboratories.
Research Opportunities
The Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Doctor of Philosophy degree is granted only upon sufficient evidence of high attainment in scholarship and the ability to engage in independent research. Although courses are required for this program, the focus is on defending orally and in written form an independent research project.

Master of Engineering (M.Eng.)
Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering offers a Master of Engineering in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering through MAGE. The program requires successful completion of ten (10) approved courses (30 credits total). A thesis is not required.
Graduate Certificate in Engineering (GCEN)
