Degree Audits

Beginning with students graduating in Spring 2008, if you have completed at least 90 credits toward your degree, you must review the Clark School Office of Undergraduate Advising's web site because procedures for graduation HAVE CHANGED effective August 29, 2007.

To get started, visit:
www.eng.umd.edu/advising/graduation

Prior to graduation:

  1. Review your Degree Navigator (DN) unofficial audit: www.testudo.umd.edu/dnentry.html
  2. Print the DN audit.
  3. Bring any questions about the audit to your Departmental Advisor during your Pre-Registration Meeting OR see Assistant Director of Undergraduate and Graduate Studies Kathy Lopresti.
  4. General questions about CORE or Distributive Studies ("I-Course") requirements or applicability of these courses should be directed to Undergraduate Advising and Academic Support at engrhelp@umd.edu
  5. Check that any course substitutions made on your behalf to your degree curriculum are noted in Degree Navigator by your Departmental Advisor

No paperwork needs to be submitted to Undergraduate Advising and Academic Support for this process, but, you are responsible for the proper completion of your degree program and should maintain records and information regarding your academic career.

Even if you have not yet completed 90 credits, you may use the Degree Navigator (DN) tool to help chart your progress and fulfill your requirements.
