Objective
To determine the effects of different Titania particle structures on its photocatalytic activity.
Methods
Observe the changes in Methylene Blue concentration during a photocatalytic decomposition reaction with various Titania particle structures, determine kinetics.
Results
Commercially mixed anatase/rutile particles show higher activity that pure anatase or pure rutile ones.
Future Work
Compare the activity of different anatase/rutile ratio mixtures prepared and modified examples in the lab, also test particles BET surface area and its effects on activity
