Postdoctoral position: Development of Estimation and Control Algorithms
for a Closed-loop Artificial Pancreas
A postdoctoral research associate is needed to develop estimation and
control algorithms for a closed-loop artificial pancreas. This
multi-institutional project, funded by the Juvenile Diabetes Research
Foundation, will involve close interactions with clinicians to improve
models and algorithms based on results from clinical trials. The
candidate should have a Ph.D. in chemical engineering, biomedical, or a
closely related field, with a strong background in systems and control
and a desire to learn basic physiology relevant to diabetes.
