improvement

ProSensus, Inc. has had several requests about running a course on
multivariate data analysis. John MacGregor has run this course several
times in the past, and participants have found it an excellent way to
obtain a working knowledge of multivariate methods.
The course will introduce and go into details about PCA and PLS
modeling, and how to solve industrial problems, such as
* building predictive models,
* understanding correlation vs causation,
* inspecting historical databases,
* building, using and interpreting multivariate SPC charts,
* monitoring process performance, and
* diagnosing assignable causes.
The examples are taken from a wide variety of industrial processes.
Computer software from major vendors will be used, and participants are
encouraged to bring their laptops, with their own process data (these
data need not be shared between participants) for use in the interactive
laboratory sessions.
The full course outline and more details are available from our website:

Kevin Dunn
