    Dear Colleagues:

    I'm pleased to announce "Eigenvector University", which will
    take place in Seattle, April 23-26, 2006. EigenU will consist
    of 14 hands-on chemometrics related short courses, and our
    first ever PLS_Toolbox User Group Meeting.

    Also, there will be two MATLAB®/PLS_Toolbox User Poster
    Sessions sponsored by The MathWorks, Inc. An Apple iPod Nano
    will be awarded to the presenter of the best poster each
    evening. There is no charge to attend the poster sessions.

    MATLAB for Chemometricians*
    Chemometrics I--Principal Components Analysis (PCA)
    Chemometrics II-Regression and Partial Least Squares (PLS)
    Using PLS_Toolbox On-Line*
    Calibration Transfer and Instrument Standardization*
    Multivariate Curve Resolution
    Advanced Data Preprocessing*
    Clustering and Classification*
    Multivariate Image Analysis
    Variable Selection
    Multivariate Statistical Process Control
    Chemometrics in Mass Spectrometry
    Multi-way Analysis

    * = half day course, all other courses full day

    Course instructors include Eigenvector staff (Barry M. Wise,
    Neal B. Gallagher, Jeremy M. Shaver, Willem Windig,
    Charles E. "Chuck" Miller, and R. Scott Koch) and our
    associate Rasmus Bro.

    Course fees range from a $550/day for single days down to
    $380/day for all six days for industrial participants
    (registration and payment by March 17, 2006). The academic
    rate is a flat $225/day. Course fees include continental
    breakfast, snack and beverage breaks, lunch, course notes,
    computer use and instruction.
