Each year, the AIChE NCS participates in and helps sponsor a
student night event involving chemical engineering students
from Howard University and the University of Maryland. The
event alternates between the two campuses.
This year's event takes place this evening (Friday, April 9)
at Howard, and the details are provided below. Members of the
NCS executive committee apologize for the late notice - we
only received information on the event this morning.
Student night details:
Time: 7PM
Place: Hilltop Lounge, Blackburn Center, Howard University
Food: BBQ and possibly ice cream, etc.
Program: Popular games adapted for ChE
Direction: Georgia Ave. going north; turn right on College St. That is
the main entrance to the campus. Go thru the black iron gate and turn to
the left. Blackburn Center is the last building in that row, with a
fountain in front and a balcony.
Parking: There are free parking spaces at that time, if they are open. An
alternative is to park in the Engineering Building parking lot which one
can enter from Georgia Ave. before reaching College St.
