WHO: Joseph H. Dangler, Vice President Production
WHAT: Tour of A. Smith Bowman Distillery
WHERE: Bowman Drive off of US Business Highway 17,
south
of Fredericksburg, VA.
DIRECTIONS: Leave IH 95 at Exit 130 and travel east on
State
Highway 3 (also known as Plank Road or Germanna
Highway). Cross under US 1 and stay on State Route
3
(at that point known as the Blue and Gray
Parkway).
Exit State Route 3 and travel south on Dixon Street
(also
known as US Business 17) for about 0.6 miles.
Bowman
Drive will be a left exit from US Business 17.
WHEN: 6:00 p.m. Arrive at tour site - Bowman
Drive.
6:15 p.m. Tour Begins.
7:00 p.m. Social period begins. (Libations provided by A.
Smith Bowman!).
7:30 p.m. Dinner provided by Roll Out The Barrel.
8:15 p.m. Presentation about the history of the company
and the site.
9:00 p.m. End of program.
COST: $15.00 per person includes meal, soda or iced tea,
coffee, tip and tax.
Choose from the following selections when you make your
reservations:
1. GRILLED MARINATED CHICKEN BREAST Garlic potatoes, green
beans, dinner
roll
2. LASAGNA Tossed salad, garlic bread
