I am working on having a November, 2001 NCS AIChE program comprised of a
tour of the A. Smith Bowman Distillery (Fredericksburg, VA) followed by
dinner and a presentation. Before making final arrangements I would like
to get a sense of the membership regarding such a program. Your answers
to this poll will help me decide to go forth or not.
The schedule of events would be as follows:
6:00 p.m. Arrive at tour site near Fredericksburg, Virginia.
6:15 p.m. Tour begins.
7:00 p.m. Social period begins. (Libations provided by A. Smith Bowman!)
7:30 p.m. Dinner at Roll out the Barrel.
8:15 p.m. Presentation about the history of the site and the company.
9:00 p.m. End of program.
1. Are you interested in such a program?
2. Which Wednesdays in November would be okay with you for this
program? 14th.? 21st.? 28th.?
3. Should this program develop, would you prefer carpooling or a bus for
transportation to the tour site?
